The Love of the Dog

Found these adorable photos on Dirty Blonde Blog

At first I was worried the baby was going to get squished. How sweet is the last photo?

I think Charlie will just growl at my new baby...that is when I have one...and no I am not pregnant.

Dog Photographer

I think I have found my newest dream job/obsession. Maybe I will start a new business venture.

While looking on one of my favorite blogs A Cup of Jo I found this post about a dog photographer and loved it so much that I am posting it here. The photographers name is Sharon Montrose and she officially has the Best Job Ever: photographing puppies, baby deer and even little porcupines in Los Angeles.

See more of Sharon’s work on her blog.

I think Sharon looks like Jennifer Aniston. Don't you agree?

Dog Birthday Party

I saw this post of a dog birthday party and thought now that is cute. I want to throw one of these for Jack and Charlie Pants.

Charlie at the Wedding

Charlie is sporting a 50's style sweater for the wedding festivities. He was also given a flower since he was a part of the wedding family. By the end of the night the sweater bottom was almost dragging on the grass cause he had peed on it a couple of times. I am going to have to figure out how to fix that.

Here is Charlie ruining his diet. He found an ice cream cone on the ground, ice cream and all, and went to town. Yummy.

Charlie Cut His Foot

A couple of days ago Charlie was barking at the mailman - luckily from inside the house- he wasn't actually chasing him, and his foot got stuck in the front glass door. What happened was Charlie ran to the door and jumped up on it and hit it with his feet and the door popped open and I think the mailman just pushed it closed so Charlie wouldn't run outside and I think Charlie's foot got pinched. He started screaming, truly it was the saddest sound I have ever heard, and I ran around the corner to see blood splatter up on my wall and on the floor.

I about passed out. It took a long time to get the bleeding to stop, but eventually I got everything under control. Maybe Charlie will learn not to bark at the mailman.

Charlie update: he is doing much better and his cut is not deep enough for stitches. Poor little Charlie Pants.

Charlie Went to Monticello

Monticello is the home of Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States and is located in Charlottesville, Virginia (which is about 2 hours south of my home).

The gardens and grounds were magnificent.

I think this would make a perfect vocal studio. I think I will have Paul build me one at the next house we own.

Check out this wicked big bean.

Charlie had a great time and Monticello was excellent to both of us. Love that!
