Here's the story: When Matt was a kid, his parents took the kids and the family dog to the scoop shop every week. Babette, their beloved Poodle, would get a scoop of vanilla but it often made her sick! But the experience was really fun; he tried to find a frozen treat that would benefit the family dog…and was stumped. So Matt started experimenting until cool treats for dogs were born! The Bear & The Rat’s wholesome, cool treats for dogs are designed to benefit a dog’s digestion. So your pup can partake in one of life’s greatest pleasures and celebrate with their family!

But who are the bear & the rat? The Bear is a Lhasa Apso who growls like a bear. His brother from another mother is a Rat Terrier. Their frozen yogurt treats are probiotic, simple, made in Colorado and all natural (with organic ingredients). They're FUN for your Best Friend with Fur!

Boy do I have a great gift idea for the dog and cat lover in your life!

Allia Zobel Nolan is a brilliant author whose writing oozes wit, humor, and love at every turn. If you ever wondered what that sly little pooch of yours is thinking check out Dog Confessions: Shocking Tales Straight from the Doghouse.  Nolan has listened to these naughty doggies' confessions and shares them with pet enthusiasts everywhere.  I just loved the funny and telling photos of these sneaky pups. 

This picture and saying reminds me of Charlie and while Charlie isn't a chihuahua he does resemble this little bugger.  Charlie, who still hates to poo outside in the winter time and time and time again I find little hidden treasures just for me, I am sure thinks "I don't need no stinkin' training. I can break the house myself" on a regular basis.

Happy 4th Birthday Jack

Today Jack turned 4.  I figured by now he would be calmer. Nope!  We love you and all your energy Mr. Jack although Charlie I think actually loves you less, so quit pouncing on him.

I stumbled upon the amazingly fashionable doggie attire of Rover Dog and wanted to share with you. Aren't these cute coats, shirts, and ties funny? They are appropriately dressy without involving even a scrap of tulle or cheesy doggie tuxedo pants. For those of you who consider yourself opposed to dogs in clothes, I dare you to resist this kind of cute. Maybe Charlie should get one for church.
